Infraero has 81 units support air navigation throughout Brazil, providing services of air traffic control, aircraft support and flight information. The traffic management service has 13 air traffic control centers control approach (APP) responsible for air traffic in the phases of ascent and descent of aircraft. The control is done by aerodrome control towers 22, responsible for managing the movement of air landing and takeoff made in or near airports themselves. The stations that provide service in an aerodrome flight information (AFIS) help with the information necessary for the conduct of air operations. The 66 rooms aeronautical information (AIS) provide information to the pilots to do their flight planning.
