To coordinate the flow of information between the various air navigation stations, weather stations and aircraft, Infraero has 72 communication stations. They are responsible for broadcasting the messages in the aeronautical fixed telecommunications network (AFTN) and telecommunications administrative command of the aircraft. Through the operators of aeronautical telecommunications stations (OAS), the stations give flight route information and serving as a support for the pilots.
The telecommunications service Infraero has modern equipment and aims to establish and develop good technical and operational standards. To this end, the consolidation with the computer infrastructure is critical. The goal is to work with convergent solutions such as network voice / data / images. Thus, the company and its customers can rely on agile tools to meet the exchange of information through the wide telecommunications network that connects and covers the airports under its management.
